SONIC LIGHT BUBBLE

Public art installation
Japan, London, Belgium, Italy, China, Hong Kong, Australia

As if alive, our Sonic Light Bubble responds with light pulsation and sound when approached and touched. This cheerful synthetic ‘organism’ is designed to humanise lighting-based public art, attracting passers-by to engage and interact with its beauty.

The Sonic Light Bubble is a six-metre, clear, inflatable structure, dotted with an array of addressable LED disks shining inside and out. These custom disks act as a volumetric video screen providing mesmerising, 360 degree visual content both day and night.

The Sonic Light Bubble is a temporary light installation that is assembled and disassembled simply; rapidly introducing joy and happiness to any location.

Watch the first Sonic Light Bubble exhibited at Melbourne’s Fed Square.
